| etiquette from a waitress → one. |

I never update this. Ever. Until today. Because I've had it with the general public and their dining habits.
• When you tip, it's easy to look at the total of your meal and take a percentage out of that. But you need to also remember that a $40 bill with a table of two that had two plates is a lot easier for me to maintain and clean than a family of six that leaves their table and the area surrounding full of TRASH. I have to clean up after you. Think not only of how much your food came to, but the effort of your waitress to clean up the mess that your unruly children created.
• When you go into a restaurant, you are sitting in a specific server's section. If it gets busy, your occupying that table is also one less table that the waitress can utilize. I don't like to rush anyone, but if you are going to sit in a booth for two full hours during a busy rush time, don't leave me two bucks. And for the record? When you leave a crappy tip? Or none at all? We remember you the next time you visit. Trust.
• DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT walk into a restaurant fifteen minutes before close with a big party and expect us to be even close to thrilled.
• If you are sitting down and someone is waiting on you, don't bring food or drink from outside. It doesn't matter if it's a mom and pops restaurant or not, you wouldn't do that at the outback or the olive garden, would you?
• Waitress pay in the US is NOT minimum wage, it is usually less than four dollars an hour. We like to make a living, too. Please remember that.
